Well, A few of us have been testing the Beta of STO.. StarTrek Online.
It is a third person MMOG and seems well made so far as I can see.

The game starts with a Borg attack and you are sent to help out in
different areas by command. It is well done and feals more like a
StarTrek 1st person shooter than a MMOG.

The 1st ground mission went well and I even stood next to a no-name and
waited for him to die for that special StarTrek momment away mission feel.

There are a few missions to learn combat and then get teleported
to your ship to kill some borg. The space combat works well and has a great
feel. Destroying a few Borg ships in a fleet was satisfying and the
"HAIL" "We are Borg... U will be assimilated" was very cool indeed.

So far, I am not sure it would be worth the money as it is not a cheap game to play,
and there are concerns that the servers will shut down in a couple of years
making the LIFETIME membership or 1 YEAR membership useless.

I will add to the articlal if anything jumps out as worthy.
